HealthReach Welcomes Theresa Rush, Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner

WATERVILLE– Staff at three practices of HealthReach Community Health Centers will be welcoming Theresa Rush, PMHNP this summer. Theresa will offer psychiatric medication management which includes psychiatric assessment, diagnosis, and treatment at Western Maine Family Practice in Livermore Falls. Belgrade Regional Health Center, and Richmond Area Health Center. She will be working closely with patients and their primary care providers to determine the best plan of care to achieve optimum wellness.
Theresa recently obtained a Master of Science in Nursing, Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner degree at Regis College, MA. Previously she completed an Associate of Science in Nursing degree (2015) at Central Maine Community College and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree at University of Maine-Augusta (2018).
Theresa has a longstanding history of working with psychiatric and neurodiverse patients in a group home setting prior to obtaining her RN degree. She also has spent the last three years working as a nurse care manager for the Behavioral Health Homes Program, which focuses on bridging the gap between psychiatric and medical healthcare. She brings a great deal of medical experience and insight to the mental health specialty and will be a tremendous asset to our team!
Theresa will be working at three HealthReach practices together with primary care and behavioral health clinicians to provide face-to-face and tele-video medication management visits to patients of all ages.
