WATERVILLE
– The Let’s Go!
Program, an initiative focused on obesity prevention in both youth and adults,
has recognized seven HealthReach centers with
the Site of Distinction award. In following the program’s evidence-based
strategies, HealthReach is helping patients to establish healthy habits through
small, incremental changes in their lifestyle. One of these strategies includes
patient discussions about healthy eating and active living when they come in
for a visit.
HealthReach
practices in Belgrade, Bethel, Coopers Mills/Whitefield (Sheepscot), Kingfield
(Mt Abram), Rangeley, Strong, and Western Maine (Livermore Falls) are among 27
practices recognized in 2021! This is a particularly special achievement
considering all the changes and challenges that the COVID-19 pandemic has brought
to HealthReach over the past 20 months.
